Last summer in Canada i met two girls who touched me like no other. Molly lost her vision about a year ago and has been blind ever since, Katie is losing her’s more and more everyday. The girls are so strong and amazing. They perky and full of life and you can’t even tell that one of them has no sight, when you talk to Molly its like she’s looking right at you. Molly was part of a competition against thousands of girls her age in Canada. She won, by collecting thousands and thousands of teddy bears to send to kids in Africa. It’s taken her forever to find and buy all these toys so that kid’s more underprivileged then any of us can have something to be happy about. You two make me stronger and realize how lucky i am, to have the life i have, and too have friends like you two. These paintings are of their dog, their made to look like playing cards, like the ones life deals us. Its not about what cards we’re dealt, but how we play them. This Christmas let these be your gifts from me to you. My wish this year is that one day Molly’s doctors continue to work and find a way to see again. Maybe one day she’ll be able to see what i made.
Merry Christmas guys
